We were able to track the swimmers/members, donations, and had incentives that kept track of each of our swim groups.

For the past couple of years I have been working with Warner Robins Aquanauts running their USA Swimming Foundation Swim-A-Thon on TeamUnify's TUMoney event fundraising platform. Before they started using TeamUnify for their fundraisers, participation was in a steady decline and it was difficult to get money from the parents. Admins had their own lives and it was a struggle to have them spare their valuable time to help in the campaign.

Once the Aquanauts dove head first into TUMoney, all of their stressors and issues disappeared and they never looked back! They finally saw the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s been incredibly exciting for me to be a part of their process and their successes.

Here is what the administrator had to say about his last two years using the TUMoney event fundraising platform:

"The USA Swimming Foundation Swim-A-Thon on September 15th was a huge success. For the past two years we have begrudgingly sat at the pool trying to pull teeth and collect for those events and each year we made just above and below $3000 each successive year. With the Team Money platform we set the bar high crossing our fingers for a goal of $5000 and I think now that it's all said and done we cleared $6600.

Evaluating everything after the fact we were able to do this pretty seamlessly and without headache. We collected nationwideand even had people turn in checks like the previous years but weren't so dependant on collecting because we could just watch the progress leading up to the Swim A Thon on the website. We were able to track the swimmers/members, donations, and had incentives that kept track of each of our swim groups. We have gifts in addition to the ones provided from USA for top earner, top group, etc. and no one had to sit and do the work. I bragged about me getting the system back in December of last year when we originally spoke of this but in reality the system speaks for itself. The debit/credit card fees going to the donor was also a great idea instead of the team incurring the charges.

Overall, we were very pleased and looking forward to using it again. We also were able to run some inner statistics which we could build upon next year. After seeing donations we realized that only 1/3 of our membership got donations and we raised over twice as much as any previous year. We have to find a way to get the other 2/3 to participate and we could easily double or triple this year's windfall."
